STARTING AT $22/HR

The Level 1 Technician role is designed for team members coming in with little to no experience. While this position requires mostly manual labour, there is a major focus on skills and culture training. Level 1 Techs are expected to demonstrate reliability, communication skills, ability to follow direction, and attention to safety protocols. Level 1 Technician

STARTING AT $24/HR

 

The Level 2 Technician role is for team members who have consistently demonstrated the key attributes of a Level 1 Tech, either within Birchwood's structure or with another company. At this level, team members are expected to expand on their Level 1 training to include more tools, standard operating procedures and on-site responsibilities. Level 2 Technician

STARTING AT $26/HR

 

The Level 3 Technician role is the last stop before becoming a Site Manager. Team members in this role are given a lot more responsibility for the safe and efficient completion of projects. They are expected to properly perform most of the elements of a landscape installation at a high standard with little or no supervision. It is important the Level 3 Techs focus on keeping projects under budget, training less experienced team members and operating larger equipment such as excavators and trucks with trailers. Level 3 Technician

STARTING AT $28/HR

 

Site Managers are the team members most responsible for overseeing projects from start to finish. The key skills needed are goal setting, time management, communication, ability to manage a team of Technicians. Reliability is a must for this role, as is a drive to push their team. They are expected to take a job plan and execute it as safely and efficiently as possible. STARTING AT $20-24/HR

The Maintenance Technician role spans from someone joining with little to no experience, to someone who has experience in property maintenance but isn't quite ready to supervise a team. You will be assigned to a crew and will service the same weekly schedule throughout each season. The key attributes a Maintenance Tech needs to demonstrate include reliability, communication and efficiency. Maintenance Technician

STARTING AT $26/HR

 

The Maintenance Site Supervisor role is for team members with a lot of experience and knowledge of property maintenance. Proper techniques for pruning, lawn maintenance, gardening and tool usage are critical. They are also expected to deal with client service issues, and manage a team of 2-4 Technicians. The Production Manager is the person all Site Managers report to. They are responsible for ordering supplies, building comprehensive job plans for every project, and supporting the installation teams to ensure projects run smoothly. The Site Manager must maintain high-level skills in organization, planning, logistics, problem solving, and an ability to push multiple projects to completion at once. This is a role we exclusively fill with existing team members who know Birchwood inside and out.

The Sales Manager is the main contact for clients from their first interaction through to the post-project follow-up. They are responsible for assessing client needs, building a comprehensive and fair proposal, and communication throughout the lead-up and completion of the project. The Sales Manager must maintain high-level skills in communication, problem solving, and extensive knowledge of products and installation methods.

The Field Facilitator is the driving force to ensure all teams have the tools, knowledge and skills to work as safely and efficiently as possible. They are responsible for team member training, equipment maintenance and repair, tool inventory, and supporting the installation teams to ensure projects run smoothly. The Field Facilitator must maintain high-level skills in responding to issues, communication, reliability, and well rounded knowledge of all procedures performed within Birchwood.
